Bulk Text
Bulk Messaging is a service you can use to send SMS and MMS messages to your customers or employees. You can create specific groups within this service and keep everything organized inside the BOSS.Tech app. Need to blast out a promo, event reminder, or update? No more copy-pasting chaos!
That’s your Bulk Text icon. Use it when you want to send one message to many — quick updates, reminders, or promos delivered to your whole group in just a tap.
We know it's not fun to fill out forms, but unfortunately the FCC requires this information to verify appropriate use and help prevent spam.
Yes, you can. To send bulk texts in BOSS.Tech, you’ll need a BOSS.Talk number, which is the phone number your messages send from, and BOSS Bucks, which are used based on your messaging usage. Once your BOSS.Talk number is set up and funded, you can select your recipients and send your message in just a few taps.
Not from multiple numbers within the same company. Each company in BOSS.Tech gets one BOSS.Talk number, and that’s the number your bulk texts send from. If you need a different sending number, you’ll need to create a separate company in BOSS.Tech to get a new BOSS.Talk line.
No, however the recommended limit is 200 maximum messages per day when getting started.
Our bulk texts can be as long as you want, but longer messages may count as multiple SMS messages. One SMS segment is up to 153 characters. If your message goes over 153 characters, it’s split into multiple segments. Each segment counts as one message per recipient, which impacts your BOSS Bucks usage. Example: 200 characters to 1 person equals 2 messages. 400 characters to 10 people equals 30 messages. Tip: If you’re sending to a big list, keep it tight because every extra segment multiplies fast.
Yes! Messages with emojis have a character limit of 70 per segment. Example: An SMS with emojis and 200 characters would count as 3 messages.
You bet! Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) can be used. A 300kB size limit is recommended.
Not yet, but we are considering this feature. You can share a QR code that allows someone to join your bulk group, or they can text a keyword to your BOSS.Talk number to join. Otherwise, you can manually add contacts one at a time.
Not yet… It’s coming! Our team is already working on this feature.
