- How do I add a service?
BOSS.Tech has preloaded services on your Company dashboard so you can easily access them. Simply tap on a service icon and log into the 3rd party integration to get started. You can also access our Service Center by tapping on “Add a Service” within the hamburger menu on your Company Dashboard.
- What if I’m using a different service than what BOSS.Tech provides? (Example: I don’t use Google Calendar, I use Outlook)
We started with the most used 3rd party business integrations but understand that not everyone uses the same platform. When adding a service, you’ll see a list of integrations you can add as a service along with options that have not yet been added yet. (example: when you tap on the “ticket” service, the option of Zen Desk will appear along with greyed out options you can tap on so we know your preferred integration is being requested)
- How can I create a new service? (Example: I want to add inventory, maps or others)
BOSS.Tech is open sourced! This means you can have your developer build a new service or integration within the BOSS.Tech Developer portal. Simply have them log in at dev.boss.tech and get started in the sandbox. We’ve provided all the documentation you will need to build a new service, integration, OR you’re own mini app. If you’s like to request us a new service, let us know here and we’ll get back to you.
- What is a miniApp?
A miniApp is a fully customized version of the BOSS.Tech App with all your branding, preferred services, and integrations. You can charge other companies to use your mini app or you can keep it all to yourself! (Example: Charter Tech is a busing service miniApp within the BOSS.Tech platform. Other bus companies can use Charter Tech to help book trips, keep a catalog of drivers and vehicles, track their drivers, and more.) - I want to change my miniApp
We don’t recommend changing your miniApp. Any information or data that you included in your miniApp may not transfer. If this is absolutely necessary, please contact us here before making the change.
- Why is my login not working for an integration OAuth?
Integration OAuth credentials are case sensitive for both username and password. Double check the case and spelling. Still no worky? Try a password reset for your integration. BOSS Tech does not control OAuth credentials for third party integrations.
- Does BOSS.Tech share my business data with third parties?
Nope! Your data stays yours. We don’t sell, trade, or give it away. Privacy is a priority, BOSS
- Can I set user permissions for my team?
Yes! Control who gets access to what with customizable user permissions. Globally for your business overall, and granular control per each and every integration. Keep it open, keep it restricted—it’s up to you!
- What should I do if my integration isn’t syncing properly?
Try refreshing the connection. If that doesn’t work, check if the integration needs reauthorization. Still stuck? Our support team is on standby.
