- What is Bulk Messaging?
Bulk Messaging is a service you can use to send out SMS messages to your customers or employees. You can create specific groups within this service and keep everything organized within the BOSS.Tech app. Need to blast out a promo, event reminder, or update? No more copy-pasting chaos!
- Why are there so many forms that I have to fill out for Bulk Messaging?
We know it’s not fun to fill out forms but unfortunately, Twilio requires this information to get started.
- Can I send bulk texts with BOSS.Tech?
You bet!
- Can I bulk text from different phone numbers?
Nope, you get one BOSSTalk number per company. You want another line? Simply create a new company and start blasting bulk messages.
- Is there a limit to the number of people I can add to a bulk text?
No, however the recommended limit is 200 maximum messages/day to get started.
- How big of a Bulk text can I send?
A single sms has 153 characters. You can send messages with more than this, which will use more messages from your supply. Ex. An sms with 200 characters sent to 1 person uses 2 messages. An sms with 400 characters sent to 10 people uses 30 messages.
- Emoji’s! I want to Bulk Send Emoji’s!
We got you! Emoji’s have a smaller character limit on message size of 70. Ex. An sms with emoji’s and 200 characters = 3 messages.
- Can I send images and videos?
You bet! Multimedia Messaging Service(MMS) can be used. 300kB size limit is recommended.
- Can I bulk upload contacts?
Not yet, we are considering this feature. You can share a QR code that will allow someone to join your bulk group. Or they can text the keyword to your BOSSTalk number to join your bulk group. You can manually add them one at a time otherwise.
- Can I upload my phone contacts to the app?
Not yet.. But it’s coming! Our team is already working on this.
